Our home is located high on a hill called "Barr's Mountain in the Village of Tofino.  We have chosen to call our accommodation "the Lighthouse Inn" .

Our rooms are nautically decorated and each has it's own private full bathroom.

Enjoy the sun decks while enjoying views of Clayoquot Sound framed by  Catface Mountain,  Lone Cone,  and Mt. Colnet on Meares Island and the busy Browning Passage in the foreground.   The snow capped mountains of the Vancouver Island Range are the backdrop.

The Lighthouse Inn is close to gift shops, art galleries,  restaurants, boat rentals, fishing, whale watching,   cruises, etc. You can charter a boat to see eagles, bears, and the abundant marine life of Clayoquot Sound.  Take a scenic flight to Hot Springs Cove or fly over the spectacular beaches of coastal Pacific Ocean.  MacKenzies Beach,  Chestermans Beach, Cox Bay, Long Beach,  Wickaninnish Beach, Florencia Bay,   Combers Beach are a few of the local names.

Pacific Rim National Park is a few minutes drive from the Lighthouse Inn.  Hike the many trails including the "Rainforest" ,  the "Goldmine" , or "Radar Hill".
"Radar Hill"  was an important view point to spot enemy ships during World War II.   You can see for miles.

Take time to go kayaking,  surfing,  or simply watch these activities from the shore.

Tofino's sister town is Ucluelet,  about 26 miles away. Ucluelet offers lots of things to see and do incuding the Wild Side Trail running along the majestic coast of Pacific Rim .

The Lighthouse Inn has a sauna for your pleasure and a barbecue available to grill your salmon.  A large pot is supplied to cook crabs.   You will have use of a fully equipped kitchen.   At the end of the day curl up in front of the fireplace and enjoy a good book, or watch tv or roast marshmallows outside around the fire pit.
